All data generated by your use of Intent is stored exclusively on your local device using the Chrome Storage API (chrome.storage.local). This includes:

The list of websites you choose to block ("Blocklist").
Your extension preferences and settings (e.g., timer durations, strict mode).
Your usage statistics (e.g., number of blocks, unlock frequency).

This data never leaves your browser and is not accessible to the developers or any third party.

3. Permissions

Intent requires specific permissions to function effectively. Here is how we use them:

Tabs & Host Permissions (`<all_urls>`): This is required to detect when you navigate to a website on your blocklist. The extension checks the URL of your current tab against your locally stored blocklist. It does not track, store, or transmit your browsing history for any other purpose.
Storage: Used to save your settings and blocklist locally.
Notifications: Used solely to alert you when a timer has expired.
Alarms: Used to manage background timers for your unlocked sites.

4. Third-Party Services

The Intent extension does not use any third-party analytics, tracking scripts, or advertising services. Your browsing activity remains private.
